2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older and capable of entering into a binding agreement to purchase from our store.

3. Products, Pricing & Availability

• We strive for accurate product descriptions and images. Slight variations (e.g., packaging updates) may occur.
• Prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT unless stated otherwise.
• We reserve the right to change prices, run promotions, or discontinue products at any time.
• All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.

4. Orders & Payment

• After placing an order, you’ll receive an order confirmation. This is not our acceptance. Acceptance occurs when we dispatch your order.
• We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. By paying, you warrant you are authorised to use the selected method.
• We may cancel and refund orders in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock issues.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We ship nationwide in South Africa. Delivery options, timelines, costs, and restrictions are detailed in our
Shipping Policy. Risk of loss passes on delivery to the address you provide.

6. Returns, Exchanges & Faulty Products

Our approach to returns and exchanges is set out in our Returns Policy. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA) remain unaffected.

7. Promotions, Coupons & Gift Cards

• Promo codes cannot be exchanged for cash, are non-transferable, and may have expiry dates and exclusions.
• One code per order unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to withdraw offers at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this site (text, graphics, logos, product names, images) is owned by or licensed to Scent Society and protected by applicable IP laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

9. Acceptable Use

• Do not misuse the site (e.g., introduce malware, attempt unauthorised access, scrape content).
• Do not use our Services for unlawful purposes or to infringe rights of others.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.

11. Warranties & Disclaimers

Except as expressly stated, the Services are provided “as is.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, except where such warranties cannot be excluded under the CPA.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts, without prejudice to your rights under applicable consumer laws.
